But instead of criticizing the app, let’s focus on what it offers. In Microsoft ToDo you can create and organize tasks in projects. Each task can have a set of subtasks, but these subtasks act more like a checklist with very limited list functionality.

You can create recurring tasks in To Do, but you can’t use natural language to do so. To Do supports collaboration to a certain extent. You can invite people to join any list by sending them an invitation email or giving them a link, but they will need a Microsoft account to even see it. 

Currently, Microsoft To Do doesn’t provide options for sharing a task list in view-only mode or exporting a task list.

The biggest advantage of Microsoft To Do is that it’s free and that it’s part of a Microsoft ecosystem, although there are no apparent advantages to that yet.
