Geekbot templates shorten the time it takes to build customizable workflows for automated, recurring, or ad-hoc communication and task workflows. The Work From Home template helps you check in with your remote teammates.
The Work From Home template provides a structured format for team members to share their progress, challenges, and plans for the day. Configure the workflow settings, such as the schedule, the participating team members, and the public or private channel in which Geekbot will broadcast updates. This is a scheduled (or on-demand if you prefer) report that helps the team members answer prompts such as How has your work/life balance felt this week?, Do you feel someone would say or do something to help if they thought you appeared stressed?, or Do you find the collaboration tools you have available help you work effectively?.
Yes, you can track your team’s engagement. Geekbot can post an engagement summary showing team participation and nudge any team member who’s yet to report. Updates include who’s associated with the standup, whether someone is OOO or offline, the participation percentage, and a little motivation. Learn how to post an engagement summary. Read more here
To access the Work From Home template on Slack or Microsoft Teams, log in to your Geekbot account and click the + New Workflow button. Then, select the Work From Home template from the available options. The workflow will always trigger automatically on the schedule you provided, or you can manually trigger it directly inside Slack or MS Teams by typing report.
The template is free to use for anyone in the Free or Paid plans.
